Alhaji Daudu (Zakar) Saleh, was a royalist, bureaucrats, patriotic, public and business administrator. He was a bridge among his kinsmen. Legend of girls child education, all his nine daughters are graduates.
Academist, Administrator, Medical Doctor, Lawyer and Engineer among his daughters, talk less of sons.
Born to the famous Magarya clan in Hadejia in the year 1936. Mallam, son of Alhaji Saleh son of Sarkin Sarkin Arewa Sulemanu and Aishatu daughter of Sarkin Dawaki Ismaila.
He attended Hadejia Elementary School from 1944 to 1948, then Kano Middle School from 1948 to 1952. Attended Ilorin Higher Teacher's College 1952 to 1955.
He started his working career at North Regional Literature Agency (NORLA) 1955 to 1959.
