FIRST EMIR'S CAR ARRIVED AT HADEJIA IN 1921

...Also there was the a outbreak of community diseas in 1917 known as (Marisuwa). The means of transportation had been animal such as Donkeys, Camels, and Cattles, but at this own time foreign ideas in form of Technology and modernization ware brought to Hadejia in 1931.

The first Emir's Car thus arrived at Hadejia in 1921 also the establishment of commercial firms commenced in Hadejia in 1917. There was also the construction of the present Hadejia Local Government Authority Prison in 1922. This time Sir Hugh Clifford the Governor of Nigeria had paid a visit to the Emir of Hadejia in 192. He was nickenamed by the Hadejia people (Gwamna Mai Baza). For the first time there was also the introduction and consolidation of Western Education which brought about some changes, in the Traditional and Islamic Administration and of course progress in the Emirate as people began to send their children to school to have Western Education at Hadejia Elementary School that was declared open in 1924.

In 1912 the old Hadejia Market was transfered from outside to the center of the town. The distribution of District Administration areas and their Headquarters took place in 1913.

The industrious Emir of Hadejia Abudulkadir, dead in 1925 at a tender age 37 his death might not be unconnected with the community fever (Zazzabin Duk Gar) that broke up in 1925 in which a lot of people died. Ha was succeeded in 1925 by Usman.
